Each year, the Show brings together more than 100 U.S. and international artisans and dealers, including a number of I.G.M.A. Artisans and Fellows. They offer collectors unique, well-crafted 1-inch, 1/2-inch, and 1/4-inch scale miniatures from around the world.

2014 Good Sam Show: "The Phoenix" by Karen Renee

"The Phoenix" by Karen Renee was featured on "Through the Looking Glass" in the March 2015 issue of Miniature Collector magazine. The hand-sculpted Phoenix is 6" tall. Its crest is hand-painted ostrich feathers and the train is custom dyed Whiting cape feathers. The body and wing feathers are hand painted, hand-cut Japanese crepe paper. The stand is Sculpey, over a wire form.
