Each year, the Show brings together more than 100 U.S. and international artisans and dealers, including a number of I.G.M.A. Artisans and Fellows. They offer collectors unique, well-crafted 1-inch, 1/2-inch, and 1/4-inch scale miniatures from around the world.

Class 7: Sack-Back Windsor Chair. Instructor Mark Murphy.

Students will use woodworking skills including seat carving, steambending, shaping, and lathe turning to create a lovely New England Windsor Arm Chair. After chair parts are completed, the chair will be assembled and finished with Mark's painting and aging techniques to give it a worn, aged patina. Students should expect to become quite skilled with lathe work and seat carving. 1:12 scale. Skill level Beginner/Intermediate. 3 Days - Mon, Oct. 13-Wed, Oct. 15, 9am - 5pm.
